Suzuki Ertiga Overview
In the Philippines, practicality, affordability, and reliability have topped the criteria charts of many car buyers. This is why Suzuki Philippines offers the Ertiga – the Japanese brand’s entry to the small MPV segment.
Updated in 2019, the Ertiga features heavily-restyled fascia that separates it away from the quirky looks of the previous model. On the front, it's got the trapezoidal headlamps, paired with the trapezoidal grille. The look it gives is fiercer compared to the old model. The bumper gets sportier elements, achieved by restyling the fog lamps and lower air intake. The rear features a new taillight shape, as well as a new tailgate design.
Built for the family, the Suzuki Ertiga’s compact yet practical size gives a nod to what the average Filipino family car owner needs. It can accommodate up to seven people while having ample storage space for luggage and other stuff.
With the update came a new engine. The 2019 Ertiga is now powered by a 1.5-liter engine that produces 103 hp and 138 Nm of torque. Transmission options are still the same: five-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmissions.

Suzuki Jimny Overview
Since its early teaser days, there has been a lot craze about the 2019 Suzuki Jimny not only locally but even to the rest of the world. Thanks to Suzuki Philippines, reservations were already up as early as 2018, though there was a delay in bringing the units. Fast forward to 2019, the Suzuki Philippines was able to hold a successful launch of its tiny 4x4 SUV, badged with the All Grip Pro emblem and all. It has been long-awaited and, now, it’s here.
Up front, the 2019 Jimny features heavily-restyled exterior. The updated look showcases a flatter fascia compared to its predecessor. The grille still has vertical slats like the ones on the previous model but Suzuki reincarnated the round headlights found on some of its earliest models. Overall, this new model offers a boxier body than the slightly curvy one of the third-generation iteration.
Meanwhile, the interior received a number of well-deserved changes. In-cabin plastics are a lot nicer, as well as the dashboard design. Audio controls are now available on the redesigned steering wheel for more convenience and safety. However, seats remained fabric, which helps in keeping its passengers in place during off-roading body rolls far better than leather.
It is powered by a 1.5-liter K15B engine capable of 101 hp and 130 Nm of torque. There are two transmission options, a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic. The GL trim is offered with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic, while the GLX comes with a just a 4-speed automatic.
